Educational math and science games developer Matific has raised $45 million in a funding round led by Australian entrepreneur Leon Kamenev. The investment will be used to increase the companys research and development activities in Israel. Matifics products, which use machine learning, data mining and automatic content generation, are sold in over 20 countries and in 20 different languages. The companys R&D center in Israel includes specialized game design teams that provide mentorship and hands-on experience for computer science students and graduates.
